Good News in the Badlands by Bob Ayanian is a very special collection of Americana gospel folk songs. The lyrics are both uplifting and edifying for the believer who is trying to stand strong in the faith in these perilous times and evangelistic to the unbeliever.
In 1999, shortly after Bob Ayanian gave his life to Jesus Christ, he quit his long-time job as an economics professor at California State University in Fullerton. He and his wife, Barbara, headed for the woods and the sea--to the central coast of California.
About a year later, in the spring of 2000, Bob began writing songs about Jesus, the Cross, the times in which we live, and the biblical prophecies about the endtimes. A few very talented musicians came along and helped to make these songs what they are We hope it will encourage and comfort you.
Instruments used include: Guitar, percussion, accordion, mandolin, violin, banjo, ukulele, autoharp, harmonica, and cello.
